Catherine DeLoach Lewis, MA, LPC, BCPCC, owner of Christian Therapy Services, LLC since 2002.

  • Licensed Professional Counselor since April 1, 2001 (North Carolina, LPC #3782)
  • Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor since January 22, 2009 (BCPCC #0967)
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to adult women
  • Speak at conferences, retreats, women’s gatherings and ministries
  • Train for Stephen Ministries in Charlotte area
  • Consult and train Professional Counselors, Pastors and Staff, and Stephen Ministers on domestic abuse and how to care for adult victims of domestic violence
  • Facilitate workshops, groups and retreats in my private practice and also in various settings in the community
  • Teach Christian Counseling courses as an Adjunct Professor at Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary, Charlotte, NC
  • Served as an Adjunct Professor teaching counseling courses at Gardner-Webb University, Charlotte campus
  • Served as an Instructor of College Success courses at Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC


  • MA in Psychology with a Specialty in Professional Counseling from Georgia School of Professional Psychology (GSPP) in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998
  • Masters Diploma in Christian Counseling from Psychological Studies Institute (PSI) also in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997
  • BS Psychology/Sociology, Presbyterian College, Clinton, SC, 1979

I began professionally counseling with three counseling centers in August 1998, became licensed in the state of North Carolina, April 1, 2001, and began my private practice of Christian Therapy Services, LLC on August 5, 2002. Prior to becoming a professional counselor, I had over 15 years of financial marketing, human resources, and training experience.


Because I believe in accountability as a sole owner of a private practice I belong to these professional associations:

  • Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS)
